Oh sit down, oh sit down, sit down next to me...

Graham & Green, the haven for all interior fanatics, have some seriously covetable armchairs on their site at the moment. You could definitely have a Botticelli's Venus moment in this clamshell number and the extra-large armchair (bottom) is also a winner; no need to try and contort your legs into complex yoga positions in order to curl up in your chair.

Light 'em up

Tea-light lanterns from The Contemporary Home

With the weather getting (slightly) warmer and the evenings lighter, we'll hopefully soon be sitting outside with our glasses of wine. Storm lanterns are a great alternative to fairy lights, none of that hassle of spending ages stringing them up only to discover they won't reach the socket

House envy

Plenty of my friends, whilst they should be working, spend their time daydreaming about their ideal career, their ideal outfits, their ideal boyfriend who would see this outfit and the ideal wedding which would follow. Me, I imagine my ideal home. For the past few years I've been living in rented accommodation and have grudgingly accepted the inevitable magnolia paint and granny-print furniture that comes with student houses.

This has led to some serious house envy. I crave Farrow&Ball painted walls, lust after writing tables, pine for snazzy cushions and dream of one of those vintage free-standing baths.
So here's a blog of things I would fill my house with. If I had one.
